The first month in here, seems like something amazing. Can’t believe it’s true, all seems like in one crazy Italian movie. Crazy drivers, open and smiling people, amazing nature and the mountains..Awhh..it’s so beautiful for students from Latvia, because the highest “mountain” (hill) in Latvia is only 213m high.
We are starting to get used to Italian life style and we want to be more and more part of it… we have to taste every kind of pizza, every type of coffee and of course every flavour of ice-cream. For now we have done only some of all this and we really like Italian food! The start always is hard, hard to understand and make everything right. Because many things in Latvia are different, but we’re trying! Italian people seem to be so free and happy. They sing on the bus, in the street. They just have fun! Being here is a big opportunity for us and we are really happy. We are living in Italian families, with Italian moms and dads, sisters and brothers. They help us, take care of us and do all the nice and good things which help not to feel so far away from home. There are 2 months left and we hope that it is going to be more exciting and more the Italian way!
